BULLETIN: The Fort Meade OWC Scholarship Committee would like to thank all those who applied for the 2008-09 Scholarships. At this time, all applications postmarked by April 1, 2008 are being processed for review. Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing of their award (letters to be sent no later than May 1, 2008).
OWC Members and Scholarship applicants, save the date!! Please mark your calendars for our Scholarship Award Reception! This wonderful evening dessert reception will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. We look forward to announcing the recipients soon, and encourage all applicants in thier future studies.

The Fort Meade OWC brings together officers’ spouses in the Fort Meade area to benefit the military community. Why join the Fort Meade OWC? Here are a few reasons...
- We boast a diverse membership, representing ALL of our nation's armed services.
- Where else can you meet new friends and join your neighbors for lunch on a regular basis?
- No need to find a babysitter - we have on site childcare during the luncheons!
- Support military and community charities.
- Volunteering for OWC fundraisers is a great way to have fun and support the community.
- Be a part of member's only functions like the special interest groups and the member appreciation luncheon.
Membership in the Fort Meade Officers’ Wives’ Club is open to the following individuals:
- Spouses of active duty commissioned officers and warrant officers in all branches of the Armed Services
- Spouses of retired officers, warrant officers and reserve officers whose military status has not been changed by remarriage
- Spouses of Department of Defense Civilians (GS-9 and above)
